@Antidelouvian There's no irony. The EU's corruption woes are due to corrupt members like Hungary misusing funds. In other words, corruption in the EU manifests itself on a national level, where the EU, as a supranational union, has no jurisdiction. In a way, it's fortunate that Hungary was caught breaking the rule of law principle, because with access to the EU trough barred, Orban will have to find another way to keep his oligarchs fed. And if they go hungry, so does Orban.

@Antidelouvian How so? The EU seems like a pretty mixed bag to me. Check out the Corruption Perception Index. Hungary is judged embarrassingly corrupt (similar to Senegal and Ghana), but there are several EU countries in the global top 10, as in least corrupt.

@nyali2 Agreed, let's ask someone else then. You provide a credible source that shows Hungary in a better light corruption-wise.

@nyali2 I thought as much. No have no retort. You reject our reality, but fail to substitute your own. Now run along, little troll.

@nyali2 It's not comparable to the Corruption Perception Index. Cope harder, troll.
