  2. Panda, consular staff weren't targeted in the expulsions. It's the intelligence operatives who were. Chances are that Britain expelled the very operatives who were tasked with following up on Russian dissidents, including Skripal. They have blood on their hands.

  4. Boris, you've provided nothing but vague conjecture. Fact is, Trump's and May's approval ratings haven't nosedived because of their stance on the Skripal issue. On the contrary, both have seen an increase in popularity lately, but it isn't clear to what degree that can be attributed to their handling of the Skripal case. So the "proofs" (BTW, the plural of proof is proof) which you demand in the Skripal case are completely absent from yours. They have their warts and all, but at least the UK and the USA are considered democracies, whereas your beloved Russia falls very much short of the classification.

  5. Boris, you're diverging from the topic, but kudos for admitting your conjecture and its vagueness. I find your assertion that the UK has learned the trade from Goebbels amusing. Goebbels himself admitted to being greatly inspired by Soviet propaganda. Russia is faithfully adhering to the same old Soviet propagandistic methodology. The whataboutism -- which you're keen to copy -- is a telltale sign. There are authoritative studies that meticulously follow how countries compare democracy-wise. The best-known is the EIU's Democracy Index. Like you, they don't spare the USA, but Russia comes off much worse. I can't think of a country with a bigger discrepancy between human development and observance of democratic principles.
