  1. Just like the Brexit fallout, it should sort itself out? You Brits should know better by now. If Eurostar goes belly-up, do you expect Heathrow to shoulder the burden, or the ferry companies, which are increasingly bypassing the UK? Maybe dust off the good ol' hovercraft?

  2. You can't see further than the end of your nose, eh? While there's no direct financial impact from Eurostar going bankrupt, the indirect consequences are far-reaching. But if you view tourism as something distasteful and you don't mind London losing even more of its lustre as a financial centre, go ahead and ignore the problem. That's what you Brexiteers excel at. If the UK doesn't step in now, I'm sure we'll see a Global Britain Express operating the Chunnel service in the future -- heavily subsidised and 100% owned by the UK.
