@laurejon Oh, it's abundantly clear that you think you don't want to be a EU member. But all the same, you want to cherry-pick your benefits, and that at a special, only-for-you rate. Perhaps you should visit a London gentlemen's club and ask if you can pick and choose your membership benefits and then bargain for them. I'd love to be a fly on the wall.

@Philshki82 You Brexiteers have a short memory. After the referendum, your head honchos claimed that the EU would bend over backwards to offer the UK a deal. There was no talk about a no-deal scenario, just jubilation about how wonderful this deal would be. Since nothing came of it, you changed tack and started claiming that the deal never mattered. Consistency isn't your forte, that much is clear.

@laurejon Dream on. Any sanctions against an individual EU member will trigger counter-sanctions from the whole bloc. That's what trade blocs are for. United we stand, divided we fall -- you'll fall all right. You're being mighty presumptuous to think the Americans will have your back. On the contrary, you'll be collateral damage in Trump's trade wars, just like when Trump slapped huge tariffs on Bombardier's airliners. And who came to the rescue? Europe's Airbus.
