@johnlenin830 Belgium's so-called East Cantons -- where German is uniquely spoken in Belgium -- were wrongly allocated to Belgium after WW1, and, to add insult to injury, returned to Belgium after WW2. Those of Russian ethnicity in Estonia are post-WW2 settlers and/or their descendants in what was Soviet-occupied territory. There's no comparison.

@johnlenin830 Interesting that you mention Finland. In the Nordic countries, Russian immigrants are on their best behaviour and quickly integrate, becoming productive members of society in no time. Their locally-born children even adopt the local language as their native tongue. In contrast, in the Baltic countries, the ethnic Russians drag their feet. It must be a false sense of entitlement that endures from Soviet times.
