Pray tell why it never occurs to your ilk that if Putler finally calls quits on his ill-advised military adventure and orders his Orcs to withdraw whence they came, there's no more war? Don't feel bad about yourself, the obvious eludes many.

Zelenskyy is acting in accordance with the UN Charter, which specifically mentions the right to self-defence. Your beef is with Putin, who's at odds with the Charter. The UN General Assembly, too, couldn't have been clearer about it.

And haven't you heard of the expression about death and taxes? We all pay taxes, but apparently not all of us dare to risk death in the line of duty.

@The_Mantis77 If it's any consolation, YouTube didn't reject your earlier comment because of bad spelling or poor grammar, because your latest one got through all right. If you weren't monolingual(ish), I suppose you could check my military grade online. Promotions are made public on Independence Day and we don't promote anyone to higher reserve ranks without active service and/or special military accomplishments. But I'm obviously talking to an armchair general who's just as accomplished as President Bone Spurs in matters military.

@The_Mantis77 Again, grammar befuddles you. It's "*you're not showing..." and "*you're going to have to fight.." You have one language... Four years of active service, and a lifetime-19 in the reserves. I'll be out when I reach 65. My overseas deployments were in Lebanon and in Kosovo. In the latter, I occasionally commanded your compatriots. Your NCOs were good, but above and below, it was a mixed bag. If I had my pick going out on missions, it would always be the French Foreign Legion. They had a special sort of disdain reserved only for your officers, so I did get them quite often ;-)

@The_Mantis77 There you go again. "Your" and "you're" are not interchangeable. The former is a possessive adjective and the latter is a contraction of "you are". Try to remember. What exactly is it that you want me to acknowledge? For the record, I don't want anyone to go to war. If you knew recent history, you could've easily deduced that Lebanon was UNIFIL and Kosovo KFOR. One tried to keep Lebanon's Shias and Israel from constantly duking it out and the other put a stop to a genocide as well as the revenge attacks that followed. Little do you know is what describes you best.

As it happens, Trump's most profitable "business venture" is The Apprentice -- which is all about make-believe business. VP Vance, of all people, once likened Trump to Hitler. It goes to show what kind of opportunistic toadies he surrounds himself with. And let's not get started about the "very smart and successful people" that he surrounded himself with earlier, only to fall out bitterly with them. Again, ex-VP Pence is the most poignant example. Finally, Trump's initial ascendance to the presidency saw the USA downgraded from full democracy to flawed democracy. So much for your hero showing anyone the way back to freedom and democracy. Trump can't find the way back himself -- in fact, he only leads the US further astray. With his flurry of executive orders, he's bypassed Congress. Hitler, too, neutered the Reichstag. OK, Trump gave his January 6 rioters back their freedom, I give you that.

@cedricsurveynen638 You're working on not one but two false premises. President Yanukovych vacated his seat by fleeing to Russia and was removed from office in an entirely legal manner, with even some of Yanukovych's closest allies voting in favour of his ouster. In other words, there was no coup. Also, there was no *ethnic cleansing. The OSCE SMM failed to produce any evidence to that effect. Its Russian OSCE monitors, too, came up empty. If you condemn Putin's brutal war of aggression, how come you're still regurgitating Kremlin propaganda?
