Comments by "peabase" (@peabase) on "Putin 'very smart', says Trump, as Russia fails to retaliate to US 'hacking' expulsions" video.
VTBbank Your choice of words is indicative of racism. Obama's paternal line leads to Kenya, but he was born on US soil to a US mother. I suppose you know little about citizenship laws, but that makes him a US citizen twice over. Like I said, the new NATO members pushed hard for membership, meeting considerable opposition from the existing members along the way. Nothing suggests any of that was orchestrated by Washington. Only a conspiracy theorist such as yourself tries to convince himself otherwise. It's sad that Russia's western neighbours and erstwhile "allies" have fallen out with Russia. It's sadder still that Russia, under Putin, chooses to alienate them further. But the saddest part of all is that you lie to yourselves about what's cause and what's consequence. I guess the truth -- having no friends -- is too hard to bear. By the way, NATO enlargement is still ongoing. I'm curious to see whether Sweden and Finland join before or after Russia's next economic implosion. But join they will.

Could it be any clearer that Putin's got Trump in his pocket?

+VTBbank Don't mix Obama into this. I don't think the man-child Trump is capable of normal dialogue, period.

This is getting good -- like Trump, you're a birther, and most likely a racist, too! It just so happens I'm neither a Yank nor an Obama fan, so dump on him as much as you want. But I am able to see Trump for what he is. A joke!

+VTBbank Love or hate them, the US hasn't initiated NATO's expansion. It's the former Soviet satellite states that pushed hard for admission, motivated by a chronic mistrust towards Russia. We can speculate at length if there's a basis for such distrust (Crimea suggests there is), but their fears are real nonetheless. Also, you may hate the idea, but neither the USA nor Russia gets to decide what kind of security arrangements independent countries make for themselves. Yalta and similar underhand dealings belong to the past.

+VTBbank Like I said, the US doesn't decide which security arrangements independent countries get to make. Besides, it wasn't too long ago that Russia's ambassador to NATO went on record saying that Russia wasn't adverse to joining NATO at some point in the future. But I understand that in good old Soviet tradition, history needs to be rewritten to make way for a new Cold War narrative. The formerly communist Eastern and Central European countries have managed to transform themselves into stable democracies. Russia, on the other hand, has slipped back into authoritarianism after a brief flirt with proto-democracy. Maybe that explains the rift between old "friends". Russia broke the UN charter by illegally annexing Crimea. Despite its economic and political woes, present-day Ukraine fares better democracy-wise than Russia.
1
VTBbank That's one way of conceding defeat. Threatening with nuclear armageddon is a tacit admission of Russia's weakness. It's nothing more than a suicidal cry for attention from a depraved misfit.
1
VTBbank So you're a brave little soldier boy who's willing to die defending his country. But this isn't about defending Russia against invasion, but the complete opposite: defending Europe against Russian invasion, of which we recently had a foretaste in Crimea. We don't want a piece of Russia. but Russia can't seem to keep its grubby little hands off its neighbours' sovereign territory.
1
VTBbank Now you're being a petulant child.
1
VTBbank Equating yourselves with the Nazis. Your true colours are shining through.
1
VTBbank Which part of "sovereign territory" don't you understand? Ukraine is recognised by Russia, and vice versa. Hence, Russia broke the UN Charter. For that alone, Russia should be kicked out of the UN.
1
VTBbank I love it when you talk about the "Russian Empire". It makes you look even more like a foaming-at-the-mouth megalomaniac.
1
VTBbank It seems I caught myself a genuine Russian neo-Nazi! The trouble with atomic weapons is that you won't be pressing buttons for long.
1
VTBbank What you're saying amounts to nuclear extortion. Now would be the time for the Russian Ministry of Propaganda to put a gag order on you. You're hurting their cause, big time.
