@nenadmitrovic3469 Germany is on a crash diet of renewable energy. They're a prime example of what happens to those who trust in Russia as an energy supplier. You should take note yourselves. Putin won't lose any sleep if Serbia becomes collateral damage in his energy war.

@nenadmitrovic3469 OK, you insist on playing obtuse. Putin was poised to cut Europe's gas supplies when it mattered most. However, the winter turned out to be unusually warm and alternative sources for gas were quickly found. Anything Putin might have tried would've missed its mark. And now it's too late.

Let's not pretend. Putin called Ms. Nabiullina and told her that a much-needed rate hike is politically undesirable. Poor Elvira glanced nervously at her window and replied: "Da, Vladimir Vladimirovich".
