I'm not counting on a rational response, but why is it -- in your opinion -- that Putin goes on and on and on about nuclear weapons? I have no other explanation than that the poor devil is utterly desperate. After all, he's facing an existential crisis. Russia isn't, but he is.

  9. Russia didn't give Ukraine any notice, and did they ever encounter meaningful resistance. Moreover, British NLAWs put paid to Putin's grand plans of capturing Ukraine and installing a puppet regime.
