  2. Pavel Sanda I hope you're not spouting Russian propaganda on government payroll. That it has come to that is the saddest thing of all.

  3. By nature propaganda is also one-sided and manipulative. It surprises me that Russia seems to think that propaganda, most of it so over-the-top that it beggars belief, is winning over hearts and minds. If that's the objective, it's not working. But if the real objective is to whip up nationalistic fervour domestically, maybe it is.

  4. Pavel Sanda If cold, hard facts are anything to go by, Russia is isolated. Countries to voice their support are Syria and Venezuela -- says it all. Your wild, wild West conspiracy theory holds no water. Intervention doesn't begin to describe how Russia shamelessly meddles in Ukrainian affairs.

  5. Pavel Sanda They abstained, but did not voice their support for Russia. As fellow BRICS countries, it's indicative that they didn't. Anyhow, such sensitivities aren't an issue much longer if Russia has no business (literally) in BRICS any longer -- just like it is no longer welcome in G8.
