There's more than a fair chance that a sufficient number of moderate pro-EU protestants would seize the opportunity to rejoin the EU, be it at the cost of cutting strings with not-so-Great-anymore Britain. A great many have already secured Irish passports. By all means, let's have Farage "save Northern Ireland". Irish reunification is long overdue. What Farage meant by Brexit and what the then-electorate wanted are two different things. The ballot paper didn't specify a hard Brexit. Yup, I think that the *EU (Europe includes a fair chunk of Russia, too, and incidentally, the UK as well) is better than the UK under Reform UK. I'm not crying. We never left the EU.
