OK, Chamberlain. Back from the dead, none the wiser?

I'll tell you why. Iran is enabling an aggressor, which was established by an overwhelming majority of the UN General Assembly. Ukraine is exercising its right to self-defence, which is clearly expressed in the UN Charter. Iran is like supplying a gun to a bank robber.

@samanthaw4955 Advice for Zelenskyy? Hold firm while Russia comes to its senses.

Russia likes nothing better than to wallow in victimhood, that's why.

Ukraine doesn't need to "operate satellites" any more than you need to operate them when you use Google Maps to find out where you are. Besides, Russia has been jamming GPS extensively, so for all intents and purposes, the Storm Shadows have reverted to inertial navigation and terrain profile matching to find their targets. Thanks for playing.

@MrH1990s Again, in English, please.

@MrH1990s Me, research? I repaired INS when you were a mere twinkle in your daddy's eye. You clearly didn't understand the satnav jamming part. And don't you understand that just about every handphone includes a one-way GPS receiver nowadays, including those sold in Russia? Conversely, my Sammy receives Russian GLONASS positioning data. Nothing to it. Setting target coordinates for a missile is about as easy as setting a destination on Google Maps.

@MrH1990s You haven't managed to produce a single argument, yet you claim that I don't have a clue? You're pure troll. Scurry off to your troll cave already.

@chriswilde7246 Oh, the old and tired 'don't poke the bear' rationale. The Russian bear has been growling and clawing at its neighbours since 2008. Can you blame those neighbours for actively seeking security guarantees to stave off Russia's unwelcome attentions? The clincher is that once strictly neutral Sweden and Finland also joined NATO, prodded by a landslide of popular support. Their governments and even NATO were taken aback by the swiftness of events. Appeasement paved the way for WW2. Hitler could've been stopped in his tracks with resolute action early on. Chamberlain would've wanted you for an apprentice.

It was reported that Russia used commercial GPS receivers on its ground attack aircraft during the initial stages of the conflict. Didn't that already implicate NATO in your tiny book of wisdom?

No, Starmer just isn't a Chamberlain-style appeaser to dictators, like you'd want him to be.

Sooner or later, Russia will have to call its ill-advised special military operation quits. The eventual peace terms will be such that it will go down in history as a Russian defeat. Crack a history book and you'll find numerous examples.

@kylethompson1379 You should recheck on Google. Celestial navigation on missiles applies to ICBMs that fly outside of the atmosphere. Accuracy, even when combined with INS, is in the order of 100m. That's no issue for a strategic nuclear missile, but for a missile with a conventional warhead it's unacceptable.
1
@chriswilde7246 WW2 happened because of appeasement. It seems you're advocating it.

@ЛюдмилаАртюшкина By successfully resisting Russia's onslaught for well over two years, Ukraine has shown it can take it, but now it's about to dish it out as well. It appears Russia can't take it.

Let's see Russia do a full mobilisation, including the sons of the oligarchs and the siloviki. That would be the end of Putin. The former all know Putin is to blame for Russia's military fiasco.
