@VictorBonello The Cossacks originate from the Pontic-Caspian Steppe. That's by and large Europe, which extends all the way to the northern and western shores of the Caspian Sea. Moreover, the Pontic-Caspian Steppe is said to be the ancient homeland of the Indo-Europeans.

The Russians' tomfoolery is reserved for a domestic audience. They know better as well, but they prefer to be lied to for now. Sooner or later, the knives will come out, however.

Indo-Europeans aren't a race but a language group. Likewise, there's the Finno-Ugric language group, of which the Hungarians, Finns and Estonians form the majority. The so-called Blond Belt covers the whole of Northern Europe, including Finland and Estonia. I don't know if you've ever visited either country, but you'd notice blond hair and blue eyes are common, even boringly so. Blondes dye their hair to feel special.

@bigotbiden Where did I suggest the French set Moscow ablaze? And Tsar Alexander knew no such thing. If Bonaparte had made his exit sooner, his Grande Armée would've left largely unscathed.
