@huascar66 I wonder how to entice places like New York to eradicate bed bugs. I took my Swedish girlfriend there, her first trip to the States. The first morning, she complained about "skin allergies". I kept mum and promptly switched us to an uptown four-star hotel. Back in Sweden, I fessed up. We had to look up "bed bug" on Wikipedia. We split up later, but I don't think she's ever been back stateside.

Once upon a time, an American couple asked me in passable French how to get to the Louvre. The accent was obvious, so I switched to English. I explained patiently that they needed to take the Thalys high-speed rail service to Paris, because they were in Brussels. Wrong country. Sorry, couldn't resist.

@siamaklighvani3951 I'm not endorsing it, but considering the vermin-friendly tropical climate in India, and the poor sanitary conditions, it sounds like you are.
