@clownadiannews8461 Duh. Do you really feel you need to explain the merits of 'fossil-free' to us? You were confidently claiming that petroleum products are crucial in producing any metal. Green steel aims to prove otherwise. The Swedes propose to use electrolysis to produce hydrogen. Like I suggested, read up on green steel. Google is your friend. Don't be shy.

@clownadiannews8461 Fuel cells? I don't know if you're confused or just deviating. In green steel à la Suédois, hydrogen is used for chemical reduction of the iron ore. The hydrogen is made with water electrolysis. The electricity comes from hydropower -- green electricity, in other words. I don't know why you suddenly switch from steelmaking to the car industry.
