  1. ​ @kristjanvendelin3566  You fail to understand that the judiciary only interprets the law -- it doesn't make the law. That's the job of duly elected representatives of the people. If they so choose, they can pass laws that forbid convicted felons from holding office. If the applicable laws are in conflict with "the people's will", those laws needs changing. A democracy without rule of law is a mobocracy.
