  1. Corruption in Russia is far, far more endemic in Russia than in Ukraine. We've seen examples of how ruinous an effect it has on the Russian military, with soldiers having to buy their own body armour and beg their womenfolk for tampons to serve as field dressings. Power outages are of concern to the Ukrainian civilians. Ukraine's military has the means to generate its own electricity. Cope, bot.

  4.  @gullyside01  Ukrainians civilians aren't doing the fighting. Russia should've targeted those who do to make a difference on the battlefront.

  5. Of late, Russia has been re-issuing foot wraps in lieu of socks. They're plenty good if you know how to use them.

  6.  @Crashed131963  It's a old soldiers' trick. It probably persisted in Russia because foot wraps, which are basically rectangular towels, can be dried and washed easily, while also being cheaper than socks. The older reservists among the recently called-up ones probably must remember them from their conscript days.
