@f0xixtaiail2000 Purely ballistic missiles are relatively easily to intercept owing to their predictable ballistic trajectory. The ATACMS jinks before it hits the target, making it much harder to intercept. It's interesting that Russia, despite pioneering the technique in their missiles, can't counter it as well as the US Patriot.

@John_Doe448 Thanks for asking. Israel has targeted Iranian assets in Syria with their ATACMS counterpart, the equally quasi-ballistic, jinking IAI LORA. Syria's state-of-the-art Russian Pantsirs have proven incapable of stopping them. There are reports about the S-400, too, failing to stop even the simpler GMLRS in Ukraine. Reportedly, there's a mismatch between the former's detection capability and speed. The Kh-47 Kinzhal is hypersonic whereas the ATACMS is merely supersonic. Not comparable, in other words.

@John_Doe448 No weapon is foolproof. Drones are troublesome for Patriot-like SAM systems, which struggle with low and slow targets. However, the S-400 appears to do worse there, too, if the Turks' experiences are anything to go by.

@PrashantKumar-sr3tu You had better learn to cosy up to the West, and toot sweet, too. India is heavily dependent on arms imports, and your top supplier Russia, has practically exited the international arms market. Enter France and the US, previously India's second- and third-largest suppliers.
