@danielarcadia7243 We've long since outsourced final assembly of price-sensitive products to China and to other low-cost countries, in some cases even to Russia, but no more. I'm talking heavy and high-technology manufacturing, which drive our exports. Not services. But enough about us, let's talk about Russia. Russia's main exports are raw materials, truly befitting a future developing country. Ironically, Russia exports raw materials to its neighbouring countries, which turn them into products and sell them back to Russia at a tidy profit. Can you see anything wrong with that picture?

@danielarcadia7243 You're the clueless one here. I'm in intellectual property. If that doesn't spell 'innovation', I don't know what does. Product development, technology strategy, competitor intelligence, I've done it all. Putin's Russia is an all-round failure. You'd better find yourself another fan club, because that one is closing shop. Fanboy.

@danielarcadia7243 It's 66% and our manufacturing sector is humming along nicely. Russia's notoriously undiversified economy is a basket case, now even more than before.
