  1.  @TheRealBillBob  So, in Ukraine, 3 days became 590 days and counting. If Russia's estimate for "swallowing" Latvia is 2 days as you say, in reality we'd be looking at 393 days and counting. Since Latvia is in NATO and NATO is obliged to come to Latvia's aid, you'd think NATO's overwhelming reinforcements would make it to Latvia in far less time. In fact, I think that on day 393, NATO would be mopping up after the conclusive Battle of Vladivostok.

  2. Tricky. Latvia is a signatory to the Ottawa Treaty, which bans anti-personnel mines.

  3.  @nobodyisbest  Of course I know what the Ottawa Treaty is. I brought it up. Duh. Maybe the treaty is obsolete in present circumstances, but Latvia has signed it, as have 163 other countries. You're saying international treaties can be flouted just like that. Not so.

  5.  @nobodyisbest  I wrote "tricky". If you really want to give your AT mines a chance to do their job, you practically need to intersperse them with anti-personnel mines. No, as a Ottawa Treaty signatory, the Latvians practically cannot lay anti-personnel mines.
