  2. The Israeli warplanes dropped ordnance, as in smart bombs, from close-up on their targets in Iran. Iran has no recourse against such weapons. The F-15Is that Israel employed are regular bomb trucks, and smart bombs, rather than missiles, provide the best bang for the buck, so that's the weapon that probably wreaked the most havoc. Even Israel would struggle to destroy a falling precision-guided bomb in flight, but then again they wouldn't let enemy warplanes make bombing runs at leisure, like Iran just did. In fact, what's most remarkable about these strikes is how spectacularly Iran's air defences failed.
