@t34r Uh, how about Israel making a better offer for a two-state solution? Israel's obstinate take-it-or-leave-it approach is obviously a non-starter. According to recent polls, the Gazans weren't in favour of breaking the tenuous ceasefire that existed before Oct 7. In other words, they didn't sign up to the Hamas attacks and the disproportionate collective punishment that followed. Also, Hamas stopped staging elections when it came to power and eliminated the opposition, NSDAP-style. Nonetheless, Hamas's popularity was flagging, which goes a long way in explaining why they launched their suicidal attacks. The death cultists clearly wanted to go out with a bang. It sounds like you're a Netanyahu fanboy, who's scraping the barrel for excuses for Netanyahu's string of miscalculations.
