@Diomedes99 What do mean by Russia barely being able to make a cellphone? They can't make cellphones at all. The last Russian company to try, Yota Devices, went bankrupt in 2019.

@ЭЮЯ-о3к Russia's space tech is ripe for museums. Cellphones are a measure of one's high-tech industry. Just like in spaceships, Russia fell by the wayside.

@Diomedes99 Even if Russian weapons aren't state-of-the-art, they're still plenty lethal in a limited war like the one in Donbass. I dealt with the Polish military as a civilian contractor, some time after Poland joined NATO. They weren't exclusively happy about letting go of their Soviet-made kit. As a soldier myself, I saw myself how the Hezbollah had put Russian weapons to good use. On more than one occasion, we had to mediate with visibly nervous Israeli soldiers, and theirs is probably the most capable military in the world.
