  2.  @gdiwolverinemale3rd  Many pilots use the US Armed Forces as a stepping stone to a career in civil aviation. Airlines prefer to hire those with experience on multi-engine transports. They're an instant fit, fighter jockeys are not.

  14. You must be new to warfare. Whenever a game-changing weapon is introduced, the party subjected to it tries to mitigate its effect one way or another. The "game" typically changes several times over the course of a conflict. No one in their right mind claims that these are war-winning weapons per se.
