For your info, the G7 is no trade bloc, but an economic forum where members don't co-operate, but rather, "co-opertate". Its main function appears to be keeping EU vs. US trade wars to a minimum. With your colonial worldview, you must be thinking that the G7 is about the West shafting India, while it's more about the West not shafting itself.

You haven't understood the big picture here. Except for Russia, every BRICS member trades happily with the West. That leaves Russia in a position where it needs to flog its wares to a limited buyers' club, whose members know full well that they don't need to pay full price to a desperate Russia. In other words, BRICS has an unofficial bargain basement in Russia. We've seen this already with China's and India's oil and gas purchases, where Russia loses money on the deals.

@abdirahmanahmadalifarah926 Cute emojis. Not childish at all. Which part of "below cost" don't you understand?

@LondiweMtshali-yy5kf Warmongers? This is Putin's war and his alone.

Soviet openness? I distinctly remember the Iron Curtain. I was treated like a potential spy whenever I entered the country.

It's refined petroleum products that Germany imports from India, made from crude oil that India buys from various sources -- admittedly, Russia included. In Russia's case, the crude is procured at a discounted price, often so much so that Russia sells it at a loss. I don't think the Germans are in the least bit bothered -- or jealous for that matter -- if a major wealth transfer is taking place from Russia to India. I only hope you put it to good use, on development rather than mere consumption. Of course, you being you, you blame all Europeans for colonial misdeeds, which in Germany's case were wholly unrelated to India. I suggest you finally snap out of your colonial victimhood mindset, or at least apply it appropriately.

You should put your moral superiority to use and convince Putin to end to his war of aggression. Who knows, maybe there's a permanent seat at the UNSC in it if you manage to call Russia to order.

@Congtrihayankeomut EU companies set up shop in the US to address the US market because of trade tariffs. Airbus is a case in point. It's a public secret that Airbus customers, other than US customers who have no choice, specifically ask for their jetliners to be manufactured in Europe, not the US. Boeing's quality problems provide a hint.
