@maxisussex I wonder if you realise that the Panther KF51 is basically a Leopard 2A4 with a new turret, in the same vein as the British Challenger 3 is an upgrade to the Challenger 2. In other words, neither weapons programme is going to increase the number or tanks. Also, the Bundeswehr adopting the Panther is high doubtful, considering that it has no Leopard 2A4s left to upgrade. Existing 2A4 owners may be enticed to keep theirs, anticipating a possible upgrade to Panthers. It's somewhat worrying if they're not given to Ukraine to put the hurt on the Orcs.
