  2.  @mikicerise6250  If you must know, as a former long-time HK resident I very much prefer Hong Kong to the mainland, but Hong Kong just isn't communist, and never was. Sure, it has gained an authoritarian streak thanks to Xi, but then again, democracy and capitalism don't always go hand in hand.
