  2.  dražen g  So? Some Western countries were involved in the conflicts you listed. "The West", as in a collective, was not. In fact, many of them -- the Iraq War in particular -- were highly controversial among "Western" partners. NATO nearly broke apart over than one. Afghanistan was a UN mission as far as many were concerned. Try to wrap your mind around that.
