Comments by "peabase" (@peabase) on "Knocking on Putin’s back door: Is NATO really threatening Russia? | To the Point" video.
Wallowing in victimhood is second nature to Russia. In their mind, Napoleon's 210-year old foray into Moscow is proof positive that everyone's out to get them. People have been committed for less severe forms of paranoia.

@paper plane Wow. NATO gains Finland and Sweden, Russia's CSTO's uninterested and unofficial partner China gains the Solomon Islands. Cope, Vladdy, cope.

Russia sure did.

Too bad Putin's great white shark turned out to be a small-spotted catshark instead, a small bottom-feeding shark that's abundant in the North Sea. My local fishmonger has it sometimes. It's bycatch, but we both feel it shouldn't go to waste. As an avid diver with one underwater encounter under my belt, I can vouch that the great white shark is a different kettle of fish!

It's glaringly evident that NATO isn't Putin's problem per se. His problem is that Ukraine doesn't want to be in a relationship with Russia, preferring the EU and NATO instead, so Putin went berserk out of sheer jealousy. Now he says he's cool with Finland and Sweden joining NATO, because the newt-like midget realised all along that he never stood a chance with either Nordic beauty.

@davidnoelfranks1124 Putin's and Lavrov's reaction to the news was meek, to say the least. You Putin fanboys must be sorely disappointed. Have you considered switching to Kim Jong-un's fan club? He never disappoints.

The difference is that Australia hasn't invaded the Solomon Islands, nor is it going to.
