@ankpms830 News channels tend pull out a map of Ukraine whenever the war comes up, so it's fair to assume that if the Americans couldn't place Ukraine before, they can now. A more valid question is, do Russians know where Russia isn't?

@Ordinarygentleman-sx8vl Since you're big on facts, tell us about a treaty that forbids NATO's eastward expansion. Apparently, the signatories suffer from amnesia and no one can produce a document to that effect. For unknown reasons, the press didn't cover it either. You must have a clue because your lot keeps bringing it up, as if it's true.

@CHMichael Government indebtedness is a guilty pleasure of most developed countries. In other words, we can make the same excuse.

@CHMichael You're a bit of an anachronism. The concept of neighbours has changed as the world has changed. Countries half a world away can have more impact on one's economy and politics than adjoining countries do. Also, pretty much everything is interlinked nowadays. You can try to reason with yourself that you're not involved, but you'll still face the repercussions -- if not on the short term, then on the longer term. Summa summarum, you've got your head in the sand.
