Comments by "peabase" (@peabase) on "Wagner in Belarus: How big is the threat to NATO and Ukraine? | DW News" video.
@D-E-S_8559 I'll try to spell it out for you. Only two weeks ago, Wagner made a serious attempt at an "armed rebellion" in Russia in Putin's own words. By asking for US troops to be stationed in Poland, Poland is not inviting in armed rebels, unlike Belarus. Poland has made no formal requests for nuclear weapons. Belarus, on the other hand, has gained nuclear weapons. Everything you accuse NATO of planning to do, Russia has already done. Your argumentation positively sucks.

@vervetech9395 You need to read up on the Battle of Khasham. Wagner attacked a known US military position. If it came as a surprise to the attacking Wagnerites that the Americans would defend themselves, your beloved musicians must've been drunk out of their minds. Or Russia willingly sacrificed them. The Americans warned Russia about the troop build-up prior to the attack. Russian denied all involvement. Maybe by not passing the warnings on to Wagner, the Russian military thought it fun to see their compatriots being blown to bits. Sadism seems to be Russia's thing.

@dark_master_Makei We've seen NATO weapons pitted against Russia's on many occasions. Russian weapons underwhelm. You might argue that the types Saddam had weren't the latest in Russian weaponry, but I think that by now, Russia's weapons are pretty much the same as Saddam's, if not inferior. Israel's of-so-many wars against its Arabs neighbours are further testimony to the inferiority of Russian weapons.

@D-E-S_8559 "Volunteering for occupation" -- oh, what a thoroughly Soviet thing to say. The Soviet Union practically colonised Poland. Poland's motivation for getting NATO bases is to prevent the same from happening again. NATO didn't go to Iraq and was invited -- by Russia, among others -- to go to Afghanistan. Do your homework for once. Serbia and Libya were about preventing genocide and mass murder. Did either country get annexed in the process? "Corporate conscripts" -- what are you, a real-life Communist? You should join a freak show.
