@basilmagnanimous7011 Russia would fare even worse if it were to invade Finland. Finland's heavily forested terrain doesn't favour tanks and mechanised warfare in general -- "ambush country" describes it well. The same goes for the coast, which is speckled with islands and treacherous shallows that, once again, favour the defenders. Finland has a small standing army, but an unusually large reserve and a well-trained one at that. Mind you, Russia could do serious damage to the infrastructure and economy, but occupying Finland is beyond Russia's capabilities -- past, present and future.
