  6.  Startrance  The EU's energy policies aim at reducing dependency on hydrocarbon fuels. What's your problem with that? Feel free to kick yourself for Sweden's short-sighted nuclear energy policy.

  7.  Startrance  Sweden has a problem with its electricity supply in the sense that its renewable energy sources -- wind, solar and hydro -- occasionally suffer from poor output, especially in the winter, when electricity consumption peaks. Nuclear energy isn't subject to seasonal fluctuations. Of late, Sweden has been decommissioning rather than building new reactors. The EU didn't put a gun to Sweden's head to supply electricity to Germany. You're blaming others for the consequences of your own actions.
