@BlueIvory4 We built roads in rural Kenya, paid for by development aid. Not only that, we actually paid local subcontractors to do part of the work. The Chinese were at it, too, but they expected repayment of the loans that paid for them. Plus the Chinese used Chinese workers exclusively. These workers were fed poorly, so at times we fed them as well. Not long after, the Chinese roads were washed away by the rains, while ours withstood the rains with little damage. I bet the Kenyans are still paying for these Chinese roads.
