  2.  @ecologyrocks2969  The crux of the matter is that Russia violated and continues to violate Ukraine's territorial integrity. Ukraine being in dire straits economically is not an extenuating circumstance.

  3. ​ @michaeldvorak8140  Your understanding is flawed. There's something called the EU Common Security and Defence Policy. It's just that, a policy or a defence cooperation framework of sorts. The EU has no armed forces in the traditional sense.

And how is it relevant to this discussion what the US does or doesn't do? Is there a rule that says that bigger world powers have a quota to fulfill in terms of foreign interventions? How about us from small countries? True enough, the Americans have a nasty habit of embarking on military adventures, but eventually they come to their senses and withdraw -- sort of. The Russians, on the other hand, have no qualms about declaring their newly-won territory part of Russia. I wouldn't know of Afghan drugs. It must somehow make sense in your confused mind, I suppose.
