@chadgtr34 Nonsense. 5G by Nokia and Ericsson dominates in Europe.

The US doesn't have anything to steal it to. It's like they'd steal plans for a car without having a single car factory.

@jimmybaldbird3853 Actually, the US hasn't got a single 5G infrastructure company that's playing in the big leagues. Europe, with its cobblestones, has no less than two strong contenders, Nokia and Ericsson. If you ever decide to apply for passport and manage to make your way to Europe, you'll find that it's not just cellular infrastructure that's superior in Europe, but infrastructure in general. It never ceases to amaze me how stinky and old US airports are.

@jimmybaldbird3853 You have no clue. The leading 5G infra providers are Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, ZTE and Samsung. Not too long ago, your William Barr saw the light and insisted that the US acquire either Nokia or Ericsson, but it came to naught. The Scandies were mighty relieved. I grew up as a airline brat and I've flown all around the world ever since. I've seen more than my fair share of US airports. Your crumbling infrastructure is legend.

You may want to talk about your G spot somewhere more private, Svetlana.

No one in their right mind is suggesting that China is involved.

They can't change physics either.
1
@Ben-vr6qz So you don't understand physics.
1
@Ben-vr6qz Sure I do, but physics is the issue here. It's about 5G cell towers interfering with altimeters on passenger jets, because the oafs at the FCC didn't allow for enough clearance between the frequencies allotted to each. Huawei can't solve this self-made US problem any more than the other 5G infra vendors can. The fecal matter has hit the rotary oscillator, and anyone who goes near will be splattered.

Like Europe, they, too, are keeping well clear of aircraft altimeter frequencies.
