  7. The question is, will Fatah reconsider? Hamas is deemed a terrorist organisation. Fatah is not making things easier for itself by consorting with terrorists. Both the Palestinian Authority and Israel seem extremely adept at shooting themselves -- and each other -- in the foot.

  8.  @ivybae9906  We consider ourself Western and we justifiably deem Hamas a terrorist organisation, but all the same we just recognised Palestine. So much for being "Western allies" with Israel. I think you'll find that the Global South doesn't condone Hamas's terrorism en masse. A great many of the countries in question have to contend with terrorism as well. They're begging us for help -- which we've provided, too.

Then your imagination ran amok. I was relating my factual observations. I was in Xinjiang doing surveys, commissioned by a Chinese customer. I can only conclude that China had something to hide in Xinjiang. Your hair-trigger defensiveness speaks volumes, too.
