  1. It's Russia, Qatar, Egypt, UAE and Turkey that are waging war in Libya. Long-standing dictatorships rarely if ever unravel nicely.

  6.  @fadelaelzalet8674  France probably is active in Libya, although it's unclear whether they play a direct role, or use Egypt as a proxy. It's unlikely that Egypt could've pulled off the 2020 air attack against al-Watiya airbase without expert advice from France.
