@lewis123417 For now, the UK is enjoying higher growth simply because the UK is clambering out of a deeper pit. That doesn't change the fact that the UK lags behind the US and the Eurozone in recovering from the pandemic. It seems that every global setback hits the UK twice as hard economically. To put it in medical terms, you have an underlying condition. It's called Brexshit and I'm afraid it's chronic.

@lewis123417 Nope, all that's based on official British Parliament figures. In 2Q21, the UK's GDP was still 3.3% down year-on-year, the Eurozone's was 2.5% down and that of the US was 0.9% up. The growth figures were respectively 5.5%, 2.2% and 1.6%. Growth in the US is normalising and the Eurozone is getting there, but the UK still has much catching up to do. Consider your parade rained upon.

@sdb_official7078 And is the UK immune? Are you claiming that the UK isn't experiencing an energy crisis? The point here is that when calamity strikes, the UK is always dragged further down by Brexit. Try to pay attention.
