  4.  @dawn_alex  Really. I've stayed in the poshest hotels in India, including the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai. I could see from my room that when dusk fell, people on the street started laying out pieces of cardboard to sleep on. Guards wielding sticks kept them from coming closer. If that doesn't make you feel queasy, I don't know what does.
