@askkedladd Sure, Captain Obvious. We've got Turkey, Israel and, now, Indonesia claiming to mediate. Which concrete steps towards peace has Indonesia taken? Don't be shy. And who said NATO was mediating?

@askkedladd FYI, we've never started a war, yet we consider ourselves Westerners. Since you love generalisations: Asia is rife with conflict. The right to self-defence is specifically recognised in the UN Charter. You luck out that it's not a duty, because I know you'd rather surrender.

@askkedladd Europe is a mere geographical entity, just like Asia. In terms of political entities, I'm responsible -- as a voter -- for the EU and its foreign policy. The EU has seen no wars, and in recognition of the fact, we even bagged a Nobel Peace Prize. In fact, I could call myself a two-time Nobel Peace Prize laureate, since I received another one while serving in Lebanon as a UN peacekeeper. What have you done to further world peace? If you are as peaceful as you claim, surely you must have something to show for it? By rights, should I hold you responsible for the Vietnam War? How about the Soviet-Afghan War? Or the oh-so many wars between Pakistan and India? I noticed that you chickened out of answering my question about your wars.
