  2.  @jesusaguilar4585  Pashinyan has cause to blame Russia. According to the CSTO's Article 4 (similar to NATO's Article 5) Russia should've sped to Armenia's aid -- but we all know Russia is otherwise engaged. It doesn't help that Russia maintains a 2,000-strong "peacekeeping force" in Nagorno-Karabakh that is best at sitting on its hands.

  3. That's just the US driving a wedge between Armenia and Russia, to help along Armenia's impending departure from CSTO and to make official the collapse of the CSTO as a whole. Any day now.

  4. There's no uniformity of opinion in "the West" about Nagorno-Karabakh. The primary concern is the killing and starving of civilians. No one is disputing Azerbaijan's borders. Russia's backyard is full of ticking time bombs, like in Russia proper. As Russia's central government weakens further, they'll start going off. UN peacekeepers will have their work cut out for them.
