Anyone who's critical of the CCP is automatically a CIA troll, eh?

It goes to show that even a child knows that the CCP is oppressive.

@foxycon9059 In a political context, "oppressive" equates to "tyrannical" -- how's that anything but bad? Just for the record, I don't regard the US as a model democracy, especially after Trump's latest election shenanigans. The Americans deserve all the criticism they've been getting, but sadly for you, it doesn't make China's flouting of democratic values any less serious.

@foxycon9059 OK, since you're unsure about the exact definition of "oppressive", try replying that Xi Jinping is oppressive. We'll see if your social credit rating takes a hit. I dare you.

@foxycon9059 OK, you chickened out. I made my point abundantly clear.

@oppomoli231 What has that got to do with the CCP? Your whataboutism is tiring.

Winkus, please explain your infatuation with whataboutism.

@winkus8586 Reading comprehension issues? I'm curious as to why you always resort to whataboutism. Is it a Soviet thing? I thought it went out of fashion with the Soviet Union.

@TheKkpop1 You're getting weirder by the day. I suggest you stop responding to my messages (and if you do, try to find the correct reply button).

@TheKkpop1 Try to make sense, Johnny-boy. The whataboutism isn't mine -- it's that of your fellow 50-center, Winkus. You still can't locate the correct reply button. What a complete dork you are!

China is a middle-income developing country, so yes, it should experience faster GDP growth than developed countries. Growth will abate when China joins the ranks of developed countries. We've seen the same happening with some of China's neighbours. After decades of brisk growth, South Korea's economy is topping out. As for freedom, China continues to very score poorly in international comparisons. China's at the bottom of the list in the Press Freedom Index. In the Democracy Index, China is ranked 153 out of 167. I can't help but notice that European countries top both indexes.
