  4. What could possibly pass for the far left in the European Parliament is the GUE/NGL or 'The Left' parliamentary group. That's 37 MEPs out of a 705 MEPs. Most are tree-hugging utopists (the Dutch 'Party for the Animals' is perhaps the zaniest of the lot), Perhaps it's more appropriate to pick the Communists from their line-up, who number a measly 11 MEPs. Your much-feared far left is very marginal, in other words.

  5.  @soundscape26  The far left is a spent force in Europe. Some dead-beat far-left parties may still exist, but they've got very few -- if any -- elected representatives.

  6. The Communists? There are 11 Communist MEPs, out of 705. The EP has tilted to the right for close to two decades. Try to keep up with the news.

  7. Nah, everything right from centre right is per definition far right. You far righties are trying to pass yourselves off as 'the right', yet there's a clear dichotomy with the moderate right.
