@kwtinternational4451 Uh, NATO isn't out to conquer territory. You're confusing a defensive military alliance with a hasbeen/wannabe superpower, bent of territorial enlargement by military force, meaning Russia.

@paulyoung7561 Putin doesn't have the luxury of keeping the war going endlessly. He's emptying the state coffers as we speak. What keeps Russia chugging along is its national wealth fund, half of which was already gone up in smoke. Unless Putin manages to extricate Russia from the war, it's light out for the Russian economy. Probably also for the man himself, knowing how Russia has revolutions rather than real elections.

@wesc6755 True dat. It's shocking how little Russia manages to export in terms of manufactured goods. Two years ago, when our supermarkets took all Russian-made products off the shelves, it took very little effort to do so. It basically came down to gherkins and Chupa Chups lollipops, which were easily replaced, even with the same brands, since just the multinationals' Russian production facilities were affected. Consumers didn't notice a thing.
