  1.  @BennyKaipada  Duh, there are plenty of examples of airliners being struck by AA missiles and nonetheless continuing on. The damage incurred can vary widely, depending on the warhead in question and the proximity of the blast. My guess is that this missile had a fragmentation warhead with a proximity fuse, which is effective against drones, but less so against bigger aircraft. It begs the question if the plane had landed safely if the Russian had let it.
