  1. It's fair to say democracy is under threat in the US, but the contrast with China is still glaring. It speaks volumes that you have to try to drag the US down to the level of China to feel better about China.

  2.  @lb7476  I can tell you I've been to China. I can't, however, tell you how many times, because I've lost count. Also, I don't watch, listen to or read US news media.
