  1. HTS is designated a terrorist organisation by the EU as well, which, if you don't know it, includes Germany. In their defence, HTS inherited the designation from its past affiliation with al-Qaeda. If HTS keeps on the straight and narrow, it'll be struck off the terrorists list in a not too distant future.
