Yet it's all very reminiscent of Russia kicking out foreign NGOs, including Amnesty International. Is that the example you want India to follow? Are you aspiring to become an international pariah as well?

@avinashagnihotri5616 You're implying that India's human rights situation can't bear international scrutiny. If you want quid pro quo in the UK, I'm sure they'll let you set up an NGO for that purpose.

@nerisalobo Are you living under a rock? Russian dissidents are targeted left, right and centre. Litvinenko, Politkovskaya, Nemtsov, the Skripals, Navalny... and they're just the tip of the iceberg. In your own words, you completely support that.

@hapi i Amnesty International is what it says, international. They have to be headquartered somewhere. I've said it before, set up an NGO of your own to address British colonial crimes that, in your view, have gone under-reported. You'll do the Brits a favour. Yourself, too, because then you can dispense with the childish whataboutism.
