@mike4393 Geographically speaking, yes, but Russia's population is mostly European, since population density is the highest in the western, European part of the country. Russians make up the single biggest European nationality. You're excused, because the Russians often forget it themselves.

@mike4393 You're still confused about geography. The British Isles don't extend to Australia. Whether we like it or not, Europe does extend all the way to the Ural Mountains, deep inside Russia. What an odd claim that Russian "citizens" supposedly moved from Eastern Europe to Russia in Soviet times. Then and now, Russia covers the vast majority of Eastern Europe.
